Montana Marzario was a ski racer with big dreams until he suffered a head injury during a race in his second year in college. She could not find relief from the prescription pain medication, but her life returned to normal when she was diagnosed with CBD.
“I had to give up skiing, which was difficult, and the drugs didn’t help. “We had a family friend who started a hemp company and he made me try CBD,” Montana said. “I started to see results, I stopped the prescription drugs. I managed to go back to school – it really changed everything. “

After experiencing such a huge drop from their injuries and then finding such relief, 23-year-old Montana and her 27-year-old sister Madison set out to share the power of CBD with others. They started a care departmentCBD product line, with their mother, Sherry, in 2018, and now the family is celebrating the grand opening of Hemp by Tumbleweeda CBD-only retail store in Edwards, located right next to their Tumbleweed marijuana dispensary.
“We are a women-run, local and managed company,” Madison said. “This is our whole life. I used to work in a corporate office, and Montana just graduated from an amazing college with connections to work anywhere. We took the risk to jump into this industry because we believe in it. We are a family that has built our health and lifestyle around these products. ”
CBD lesson
In a market that is increasingly saturated with CBD products, Hemp from Tumbleweed strives to be something different. Many visitors to Marzario’s nearby Tumbleweed Dispensary often sought an alternative to THC (the psychoactive ingredient in cannabis that makes users feel “bloated”), while enjoying the benefits of the cannabis plant.
CBD or cannabidiol is derived from the hemp plant and is legal in the products of the US Department of Care, they do not contain traces of THC, which means that these products will not make consumers feel tired.

“We opened the Hemp by Tumbleweed store to provide a place for all people in the valley to shop for highly proven products so they don’t have to do intensive research,” Montana said.
At Hemp by Tumbleweed the research is done for you. Madison said customers can come to the store and spend as much time as they want talking to staff about its CBD and hemp products. The care department even has a hotline (855-932-2730) that people can call to learn more about its products and CBD
The highest quality CBD (with which you can also travel home!)
Many of the products of the big CBD brands that you see on the shelves of gas stations and grocery stores come from Europe or China, these are synthetic (counterfeit) CBD products, Madison said.
“You should always call the lab where your CBD products have been tested. “They will be able to confirm that the test results are real,” she said.
All Care Division products use pure CBD isolate, which is manufactured and processed in Colorado. Care Division products include handmade tinctures (liquid CBD that you put under your tongue) and topical transdermal topicals that you rub on your skin. Other CBD products sold in the store include beauty products such as body oils and anti-aging products, flavored tinctures (vanilla cupcakes! Blueberry cheesecake!) And CBD chewing gum.
“We also require products from all our suppliers to be manufactured in a licensed facility,” Madison added.

Care Division’s CBD products are formulated to enhance the effects of hemp by combining it with other herbs and nootropics.
“We’ve come up with formulations that produce different effects,” Madison said. “Our unique wording is what sets us apart.”
Mend tincture of Care Division, for example, includes black cumin seed oil, vitamin E, ginger and CBD. The ingredients work together to fight inflammation and pain by activating in the body within 30 minutes. Many customers use it as a preventive measure for inflammation before the day on the slopes.
Customers say that Chill tincture helps with anxiety, while Carefree topical – which includes Sichuan peppercorns, which stimulate the skin’s receptors for rapid absorption and provide pain relief for stiff joints and muscles.
“We had people come and buy boxes of it after their first use,” Montana said.
