I have been to so many different Yum Cha places, and of all the different restaurants in Sydney CBD, Palace Chinese Restaurant is most definitely one of my favourite Sydney restaurants for my Yum Cha Dim Sum Fix. I ordered a total of 15 different dim sum dishes, all of which i love – i also included some Yum cha ‘tips’ in there so hope it helps!

The radish cake is a mix of raddish and rice flour with diced Chinese sausage and dry miniature prawn, scallion. yummy. Serve with oyster sauce.
My grandfather made the steam sponge cake, i always thought it was an American Chinese thing. Never ate it in HK.

  3. Might have to be my new go-to Yum Cha place in Sydney now that they've closed the New Marigold. Hope they do a good pork pie and deep fried whitebait.

  4. Hi Janice. Edjo and I really like your videos. This video was quite insightful. Today was our first time at Palace. The food and service are quite good but I found the prawn har gow a little bit too dense (too much wrapping) for my liking. We both think the taro dumpling is one of the best in Sydney. Thank you so much 🙏🏻 and keep on vlogging! 💗
